... village is so peaceful. Later we go down to see Gilberto's mother and brother so I can say goodbye to them. They are very lovely people and I have enjoyed spending time with them as well this visit. They have a Christmas present for me that I'm not allowed to open until Christmas so that when I do, I think of them! Off for pizza for dinner and then home to pack my ...

We walked around the walls of the town and then through castle. A lot of the shops and cafes are closed for the winter and there are not many people walking around. It's really nice being able to see these places without hoards of people around. They each have a quiet beauty about them. We continue driving up the ...

... She fell over every single time she went on it. After we skiied we walked up to the top of the mountain. We could see for miles. There was a roller coaster kind of thing that was closed down because of the snow. By Meg The Mottarone is supposed to be a good mountain for beginners with heaps of beginner and intermediate runs. Shall we just say that we remained in the teaching area as the rest of the mountain was a lot steeper than the beginner ...
