... had to be back at their ship by 6pm. We felt for them. After half an hour we left and drove down to the restaurant where wine-tasting & bruschetta were included. Apparently the wine was pretty bad but we now had to wait because the couple were coming down on another bus after the ambos had strapped her ankle having decided it wasn’t broken. So we ordered a sandwich of pancetta, mozzarella & toms and prosciutto, mozzarella & lettuce.

It carries two way traffic but is barely wider than the coach we're traveling in. She tells us a price, we say we saw it for much less, she agrees to our price and calls the cleaning lady so that she can show us one of the rooms. We were surprised by the room, a full kitchen (gas stove, oven, big frig), nice bathroom, a balcony with a slight view of the sea, pool with no water yet, laundry facility. Maiori is a beach ...

... crispy Roccocò, and the S-shaped Susamielli (my personal favorite as it's also my initial!). Of course all thru December no house in complete without having Pannetone to offer to guests- it's not really dense fruit cake but a highly raised sweet bread with fruit bits, nuts, chocolate, some icing- there are a variety of flavors to please any palate. See sweets pics Other Neapolitan Christmas traditions also abound; Midnight Mass on Christmas ...
