    ... expected and also a lot more like a town - with complete buildings and streets - I was expecting an area of archeological remains !!

    We entered via a back door much to the annoyance of all he locals trying to get us to park in the tourist car parks and immediately found inside the roman amphitheatre

    ... food and lots of lemon based things. The whole Amalfi Coast specializes in products based on lemons including Limoncello, candles, scents and perfumes.

    We just wandered for a couple of hours taking in the sights and marveling at the houses built on the hillside, with their different styles and colours. It is a very visual place and much better appreciated through the photos rather than words. So enjoy the photos.

    ... I could think about. I forced myself to leave the cafe and walk around some more. Finally, I could not stand it anymore and sat at the bus stop for nearly an hour and a half. It increasingly became cold, but I was too exhausted to change my clothes. Finally, my bus arrived. I collapsed on a comfortable seat, but wouldn't let myself sleep.
