... coach takes you see more villages, more terraces and more lemons! What is even more amazing is the road we're traveling on. It carries two way traffic but is barely wider than the coach we're traveling in. Somehow the drivers know how to move to the very edge of the road between the cliff edge on one side and the mountain on the other. Mario does a great job of negotiating the very narrow and windy road. Maiori is a seaside ...

... head back down the street to a nicer hotel and the lady at front desk. She tells us a price, we say we saw it for much less, she agrees to our price and calls the cleaning lady so that she can show us one of the rooms. We were surprised by the room, a full kitchen (gas stove, oven, big frig), nice bathroom, a balcony with a slight view of the sea, pool with no water yet, laundry facility. Maiori is a beach ...

      Boat Trip to Sorrento

... or asks if this is the boat to Sorrento. He takes a ticket and says things like Morocco or Greek isles making people do double takes as to of this is their boat. It is fun to watch. That boat leaves and ours arrives in typical Italian fashion about 10 minutes late. Not all transportation here is late, in fact most have been on time or close, but when they are late it just isn't a big deal to them. The Swiss on the other hand would have a coronary. We board and get ...
