... had a nice phone call with Luke and then the Duomo was open. A Gothic, dark, forboding church but we could access the alter area and there was a crypt and various alters at the back. Some nice sculptures. I believe I have been to church every day in Italy!! It was worth seeing as were the interesting Council rooms. We had a little shop and Craig bought a fantastic Bennetton jacket -70% off ...

... can't get it into reverse!! car won't move stuck across the road, and here comes headlights from an oncoming car which has to round a bend.. hazard lights on and my hand blasting the horn in hopes that they slow done and not smash into us!! yes really, truly this is what happened...
