Went into centre of Modena today. Surprised by relaxed atmosphere and old buildings. Part of of must visit cities of Northern Italy inspired by watching too many tv chefs. Drove to Modena along autostrada. Huge numbers of huge trucks. Truck decides to overtake another truck going half a mile an hour slower than it. ... Cyprus trees which are a lot bigger than I imagined. The trunks are about 40cm in diameter. We continued on to Radda in Chianti, which is a lovely town, again built on the hills with majestic panoramas.
