... invited us to get closer to the tunnelīs mouth, but we promised to take precautions preventing us from falling to the river which would be 100% fatal. We could observe a great example of the power of the nature in the stormy waters of the Cahabon River. They say that the water level can grow so much sometimes during the rainy season that it starts passing over the pools. We were watching at the river for a while and didnīt stop wondering about its natural strength. It ...

... this routine was very funny for her and she made sure the entire restaurant knew I was embarrassed. The 3 of us went to cafe that night with live music and listened for a while until my sister started getting really nervous about her "friend" who was coming to join us. Boys are forbidden with the girls in my house so Natalie made me swear I wouldn't tell the family. I quickly turned the tables on her and made the situation as awkward as I could with ...

The second day tour we were doing was the caving and Semuc Champey park. We were again bundled into the back of the cattle truck and drove on a terrible road down in to the park. The 9km journey took us close to an hour! The caves are a series of tunnels ...

... cascades (waterslide style) and just admiring in this place's natural beauty. Amazing.

The next day we did a tubing trip down the local rivers around Lanquin with our new friends- just relaxing on rubber tubes as we let the river's currents take us on our journey through Guatemalan farmlands and forests.

We don't really want to leave this place....but we must see much, much more of the awesome Central America!
