We finished our time in Belize, and headed to the border to cross over into Guatemala. We hopped in a collectivo taxi, basically these are vans that go along and pick people up and drop them off as you go. We were first in so had the pick of the seats. The next day we did a tubing trip down the local rivers around Lanquin with our new friends- just relaxing on rubber tubes as we let the river's currents take us on our journey through Guatemalan farmlands and forests.
We don't really want to leave this place....but we must see much, much more of the awesome Central America!
