... we had been getting on really well with the Dutch couple, Eric and Caroline. ... cascades (waterslide style) and just admiring in this place's natural beauty. Amazing.

The next day we did a tubing trip down the local rivers around Lanquin with our new friends- just relaxing on rubber tubes as we let the river's currents take us on our journey through Guatemalan farmlands and forests.

We don't really want to leave this place....but we must see much, much more of the awesome Central America!

... of the most beautiful places we had ever seen. Swimming was amazing, but if you sat still for too long, little fish would nibble at the dead skin on your feet. Our guide shared with us some information about the cardamon and cocoa plants that grow in the region.
