... went to sit at our table - well the newly born italian in our midst (jeff) waved his hands arou d and made no no no sounds and they moved - they kept on giving him the evil eye.
Disaster again - no you can't have the hire car. Luckily Brown's to the rescue - upgraded to a bigger car and off we go.

... the Carbiniery –highway patrol. The first time we have ever needed our international drivers licenses. Very serious faces and assault riffles kept our giggles in check until we got the all clear. Much laughter in the bongo van as Guido explained that in Italy there are Irish jokes but the Irish are substituted with the Carbiniery. ... La Schizzula didn't let us down, we went the whole hog along with a number of carafes of the local vino, fish great, pasta great, desserts great, people great.
