Woke up to a beautiful view from our window then down for breakfast (photo). Had the best latte so far this trip. We then commenced a browse around the streets of Venice, looking through shops and taking photos. We indulged in a gelato before heading back to collect our bags and catch the ferry to the train station where we caught the train to Milan or Milano. Venezia to Milano by traino 2.5 hours. We traveled ...

They are much taller than that but there is just so high one can go with roads when they are so zagged and rocky. We saw several glaciers today.

We are back in Switzerland and in a lovely hotel in St. Moritz—Hotel San Gian. We are walking a good 30 minutes up the ...

... We had to be careful when crossing the road, not to be cleaned up by a Lamborghini, Massariti, or Porsche.
We even found their answer to the leaning tower! We set off on one of many well marked Alpine hiking trails above St Moritz and after a while stopped for an Alpine picnic where we were entertained by the antics of squirrels in the tree tops. The cold eventually had us returning to town as our hands ...
