      ... were activities going on in the dam. I couldn't see very well, but it appeared to be some kind of diving or swimming competition. Anyway, with 10 seconds left the crowd began to countdown and at the stroke of 1 PM, the chosen men, who were strapped to the dam so the water didn't wash them away, pulled open the gates and the water came flooding out!
