... particularly impressed, it was still a nice afternoon though. We found a chocolate cafe and had some really good 'deep chocolate' flavoured ice cream.
We spent the rest of the day by the pool and chilling in the hotel. We had dinner at the hotel buffet (all you can eat, so I made up for my lack of food the day before) and then got an early night. ...
... and more of what we wanted like big fat cheesy burritos and the freshest guacamole, sometimes made in front of you at the table! The cocktails and cold beers were also delicious and still pretty cheap. We didn't stay out late, we were exhausted from our sleep deprived days in the heat inland and excited for our air-conditioned room! So as soon as the sun went down, so did we!

It was an early start for the four of us as our first tour 'XPLOR' was booked for 9am, meaning we had to be on the bus at 7am. It was a jam packed day with the day consisting of four different activities. First up was driving the buggies through the bush and underground caves. ... who was reluctant to make an unscheduled stop for us(understandably so since the company had a reputation to protect and the fact that our bags were stowed in the luggage compartment ruled out the possibility). So we endured the annoyance of watching the hotel go by. But we got some delicious savory and sweet crepes inside the Cancun bus terminal before riding on a taxi back to the airport for our last night on the road.
One more alarm clock event to catch ...
... This a slight mock-war film about a band of artist who are sent to Europe during WW2 to identify and save the great pieces of art and culture from destruction. But despite having George Clooney as the protagonist it is a weak story line with inconceivable events and a film with a slight indentity crisis. I would not recommend it.
