I had decided WWOOF (WorldwideWorkersOnOrganicFarms) was the way to language immersion in Italy. Expo was a good introduction. Permaculture is the byword. I read up. I queued for an hour to get into the Italian pavilion. Thank goodness for gelato and a parade of people. It's presentation was over 3 levels. Dictionary in hand, I managed. ...
