Quiet day today, as we decided to stay on board not do the 2 optional day tours. Two thirds of the passengers left at Linz on coaches to either Salzburg or Cesky Krumlov and will meet us in Passau. We have enjoyed a late breakfast and the optional world championship Bingo game. Came away with a free drink from the bar. Each day at 8:30 am we sit down with our tour leaders for a briefing on the route we will take for the day, and what to expect. As a result we're up by 6:30 am, and have breakfast an hour later. At midnight we set sail for the little town of Durnstein which we had the opportunity to explore early the next morning. A quaint little Austrian village on the Danube which is built around the church and whose main source of income would be tourism and the fruit products they produce such as the apricot liquors.
