... be rained down upon marauders.
The views from the top of the fortress were outstanding, and provided a great perspective on how the rivers coalesce around the city of Passau. We walked down on a gently sloping trail through the dense forest and then took advantage of one more hour to spend some time in this pretty city.
Back on our ship, we began our journey down river, with plans to dock in Vienna tomorrow evening. ...

However, while passing through the village of Ering, ...

... We stopped for lunch at Mühldorf airfield, and devised that we would need to follow the Inn river all the way to Passau. At the airfield we actually got a personal air acrobatics show, as guys were training with small planes. Breath taking. So we passed through more fields and villages (it really seems like half the population of Bavaria are farmers btw) and we joined the Inn river, where a smoother ride was awaiting us. We tried to ...

    Passau to Linz

... before crossing into Austria where everybody bought up on alcohol and nibbles. As an example 1 litre of Jamiesons Whisky was around au$22.

Back at the boat and we had some time to walk the streets of Linz. This looks like a beautiful city and further exploring could be done here. The town square was large with people enjoying the cafe's and with people finishing work for the day the trams passing through here were full.

    Tomorrow we get to ...
