    ... motor mechanics who were flinging out terms like wheel housings, brake discs, M 10 bolts etc.,

    So to my utter surprise I was informed that our driver was able to remove a bolt from somewhere else in the van. He forced the thread and after a few attempts he got it to fit. The new bolt was too long but it should hold ! So in we got and started off down the road leaving the small hamlet and my little old lady behind !
