... I finally asked the driver of another bus and he said that our bus stops at the bus terminal. So we walked back to the terminal (just a block or two) and got our bus. Heather's eagle eyes saved us on the local bus as she saw a small sign for our hostel and we asked the bus driver to stop and let us off. A jaunt through an abandoned grassy lot and over a small fence and we found our hostel!

The hostel looked brand new ...

... as hoping for a break in the clouds to see
the sunset from the point/beach/yacht club, back over the bridge on the river
bank south of town. There was a huge procession of cars heading that way too
and we were in for a treat – the cloud made it spectacular.

Back to the super for a beer and a stack of Stax for dinner –
at over 2 a pop I just have to stop!

... the ship is anchored somewhere outside of the harbor and we take tender boats to the port. We took it easy in the morning, had a leisurely breakfast outside and then got our tender tickets. We had number 20, and presently they were boarding 10 to 15. We sat outside on deck 6, where we good directly look down to see the tender procedure.

One of the tenders had just been loaded with people when smoke started pouring out of the top. Arthur had one look ...

We drove over a crazy bridge at full speed so it was like a roller coaster ride. The previous bridges had all fallen down due to the high currents. Apparently a genius Engineer devised the loop de loop design and the bridge has been standing ever since. It works so well they built a second one right beside it.
