... He even showed us a commercial he recently shot for Verizon. We thought that was funny since I used to work for Verizon Wireless. We took him up on his offer. He owns a 1981 Honda Accord. It was in almost mint condition and only had 40K miles. We stopped at a lookout point for Punta del Este on the way which was really nice. He even drove us along the river as we entered Montevideo, which was great to see.

I was lying at an angle, with my head pressing hard against the headboard. Slowly things seem to straighten out and then woops… back at an angel again. I was so tired that I could only think: what the??? And fell asleep again.

... are at sea. It makes you walk in a way you look drunk. We all felt a little like this at Punta.

One thing we all noticed however about Uruguay in general was that the people are a bit stand off ish. They come across as a bit cold, or fed up with tourists. Just to point out, this is not everybody and is more true for Punta del Este than Montevideo.
