... the cathedral we visited the museum and then the grand arch (which was actually a huge shopping arcade). I can say huge with some satisfaction since there were binoculars set into the marbled floor at several intervals so that you could better look down the corridors of wealth and power. All the big names were here: Versace, Prado, Louis Vuitton..etc. For ***** and giggles we went into each of the above mentioned shops - way out of my price range - but its nice to ...

... in the town square, on the sides of roads and under hotels. All very charming.
After a morning coffee, we headed back to the hotel for lunch and a siesta. ... the street. We swifty dropped the bags, took a collective deep breath and headed into Grub Town. As expected Summer ordered a caprese salad, we split a bottle of wine and a pizza, all in all a great experience for me the first timer. I am full, we are having our duty free Napa Valley wine in Italy (ironic, yes) and listening to the wonderful jams of the Discotech right across the street. Party on, Garth. Ciao from Milan. ...

Zurich by train from Lugano, returned with Albert

... Our hotel was old but had been renovated with an attempt at modern. After hours of walking since morning, we welcomed the teeny tiny lift that was to take us to our 6th floor "apartment". Luckily it's limit was 3 persons, but with the luggage and backpacks, we were definitely over the weight limit. The desk clerk helped Travis by pushing on his shoulder so the door would close. We had a major laughing fit as we could hardly breathe much less move.
