... takes us over the road to place to educate us in the Italian way of ordering a drink at dinner time and getting a feed off the bar from the beautiful finger food they have kindly put out for you while you eat. Calamari, olives, breads, pastas and much more. It is amazing that this array of food is put out for anyone who is drinking. While being polite with Jenn and Don as the dinner the girls have prepared is waiting for us, we head home to enjoy a night of good food and ...

We then drove back into the city for dinner at Zeughauskeller, a traditional Swiss restaurant being an old arsenal building, known for their veal dishes and sausages. There were guns of all types on the walls, crossbows, some type of Gatling gun from WWII. Veal was served with a giant Rosti (hash brown) or egg noodles. Very filling and worth the price. One of the meat dishes is served up on a sword. Very special place.

I don't know where the days have gone, but this morning I'm heading home again. We are both sad to be parting but the reality is our lives are on opposites of the world. So for now we wait and see, stay in touch and see what the future holds for us. My stay in Bannio has been amazing; it is a place like nowhere I've ever been. The mountains are breathtaking, the villages like something out of a fairy tale and my time with Gilberto has been ...
