    ... violin makers came from this town. This museum must have had 400 different violins and cellos. It was interesting to read what wood was used and why. It all came down to the sound the different woods made within the violin.     ... walking around the stands holding up shirts and saying anyone wanna trade? When I went to CCOA in Texas, there were not many countries, and the opportunity for trading was limited. Today I realised that I could get more shirts before WAO is on in a few weeks, so did trade the shirts that I brought with me, but possibly need to be more onto it for WAO!

    ... for me today... The Japanese handlers are sitting next to us in the stands, and are very nice and handle very well. One of their team won individual jumpers today and their enjoyment of that was great to see. When the Italian all round winner for one of the heights was announced, 2 of his team mates carried him to the podium on their shoulders - great to see such support. it sounds like the Russians have been quite reserved in previous years, ...
