Stayed around the campsite throughout the morning reading
a good book. A short local walk in the afternoon but managed to catch a bus
that took us right back to our start point rather than taking us further up the
valley side. Gave up in disgust, had a cup of tea and carried on with the good

Rained all through the night, non-stop. Fridge still
refusing to fire on LPG. Weather forecast for the day is not good, and not much
better at this altitude until Thursday so we have decided to head off and down.
Checked out, with a charge for the electricity of 2.7Kw. Their PC chart showed
the fridge started on electricity at 1600, 25 Aug through to 0900 26 Aug, with
a setting of 2 bars and a cool ...
... around 10kW-hrs, but 20kW-hrs, never. The
guy never showed us the start reading (scribbled on some scrap of paper in
pencil) so it could have been anything. He caught me washing the van, and I’m
sure he took exception to it too, so not surprised he tried to diddle us.
Overall, not a nice man.
Drove out of Dalaas in a huff and left the area, heading
up the Montafon Valley, avoiding the Arlberg Tunnel. Still had to pay ...
