One of those hotels that look so swish on the outside but it's really just cheap materials made to look that way. Saying that, the rooms were nicely furnished and very comfortable.

... we have planned for no stops, so we can go out for a nice meal in Barcelona. The traffic flows well all the way and we swap driving a few times. We stop on the outskirts of Zaragoza for a bit of lunch around 1:30 at a huge shopping complex devoid of people, and then off again stopping a few times for toilet breaks and drinks.
The landscape around this area of Aragorn, is really quite spectacular, it is like there was a huge river complex here and the ...

So by the time we reached Park Guell, crawling up the steep street on the outdoor escalators, it was getting dark and there was barely time to appreciate the huge view that sat below us, crowned by the Sagdra, before striking out down hill to find the van. Our energy had slumped, we were damp with rain and we took our hunger out on each other like spitting feral cats. Next morning we woke up to the ...

We have finally boated and are taxing out to the runway when they make an announcement that there is a "situation" and we must return to the gate! Once at the gate 2 men board and head for the back of the plane! They are doing something in the coach cabin then after a few minutes they leave!! ...

So the black out curtains are very effective! We woke about 8.30 which is a huge sleep in for us! Breakfast very tasty in the Andante Hotel. The service is really good here. After our experience in Paris, we're very happy and surprised. We took a Barcelona Bike Tour at 11am and it was just as good as I remembered, if not better. Nev was a bit nervous about the traffic. After the tour, ...

As this is one of my all-time favorite novels, I was incredibly excited! We also ate at one of his favorite restaurants for dinner and later visited Shakespeare and Company, a bookstore supposedly popular with Hemingway and other great writers.
