One of those hotels that look so swish on the outside but it's really just cheap materials made to look that way. Saying that, the rooms were nicely furnished and very comfortable.

... we have planned for no stops, so we can go out for a nice meal in Barcelona. The traffic flows well all the way and we swap driving a few times. We stop on the outskirts of Zaragoza for a bit of lunch around 1:30 at a huge shopping complex devoid of people, and then off again stopping a few times for toilet breaks and drinks.
The landscape around this area of Aragorn, is really quite spectacular, it is like there was a huge river complex here and the ...

After this I walk to the cable car to take me up to the old castle further still up the hill. I go for a walk along the water ...

... the Spanish doughnuts were never really Spanish? The heart ponders at such a thought! Haha heavens knows! Our view of Barcelona was collectively the same as everyone else's, Just loved it. As we left the colour and the beautiful architecture all around us, we knew it wouldn't be the last... In fact we would be stopping over twice more this trip.. Haha it's like we knew it was going to be fabulous... Lots of love back home as we head over to Menorca... Bring on the relaxation ...

      ... portion of the tour.

After the market we made our way a few blocks north up Las Ramblas to a photography shop to pick up some do dads for me. This took us into the Eixample district of Barcelona and up close to the University. The landscape quickly shifts to crowded, modern metropolis with high end shopping, global brands, broad streets, and crazy traffic. Such a very different feel to the city just a few hundred yards away from our apartment. ...
