One of those hotels that look so swish on the outside but it's really just cheap materials made to look that way. Saying that, the rooms were nicely furnished and very comfortable.

... we have planned for no stops, so we can go out for a nice meal in Barcelona. The traffic flows well all the way and we swap driving a few times. We stop on the outskirts of Zaragoza for a bit of lunch around 1:30 at a huge shopping complex devoid of people, and then off again stopping a few times for toilet breaks and drinks.
The landscape around this area of Aragorn, is really quite spectacular, it is like there was a huge river complex here and the ...

... café where David finally found some french toast (hard to find in France, it turns out haha) and I had the best Iberian ham tapas ever. We didn't do much today since it's Sunday and most shops are closed. Oh Roman Catholics!

I'd say the strongest characteristic of Barcelona is that it NEVER SLEEPS. Ever. You'll see many people still out with their children around midnight, that's totally normal. The crowd ...

Today I walked an hour into the city center and saw the crazy looking La Sagrada Família, a blend of Neogothic and highly mathematical/naturalistic architecture. Only 60% of the building is complete due to the advanced conceptions of the building and the architect's untimely death. Afterwards I walked around the center to the Cathedral, and then on to the pier where the Maremagnum mall is located in the port. Quite a big mall to be on the water; the port area is very ...

... Well so much for sweetness! Now we are delayed by about 30 minutes!!! We have finally boated and are taxing out to the runway when they make an announcement that there is a "situation" and we must return to the gate! Once at the gate 2 men board and head for the back of the plane! They are doing something in the coach cabin then after a few minutes they leave!! ...

... on. Just a shame I didn't have the video going! All jokes aside, the big fella is a little battered and bruised but no serious injury was sustained to him or the Segway.

We walked through El Born, visited La Boqueria in St Jaume and headed off to Parc Ciutadella after the tour. Enjoyed a Magnum and lay on the grass. Very relaxing.

Enjoyed another siesta before going to Tickets for dinner. I had to book this 2 months ago ...
