One of those hotels that look so swish on the outside but it's really just cheap materials made to look that way. Saying that, the rooms were nicely furnished and very comfortable.

... we have planned for no stops, so we can go out for a nice meal in Barcelona. The traffic flows well all the way and we swap driving a few times. We stop on the outskirts of Zaragoza for a bit of lunch around 1:30 at a huge shopping complex devoid of people, and then off again stopping a few times for toilet breaks and drinks.
The landscape around this area of Aragorn, is really quite spectacular, it is like there was a huge river complex here and the ...

... Well so much for sweetness! Now we are delayed by about 30 minutes!!! We have finally boated and are taxing out to the runway when they make an announcement that there is a "situation" and we must return to the gate! Once at the gate 2 men board and head for the back of the plane! They are doing something in the coach cabin then after a few minutes they leave!! ...

... understand this concept…. Gaudi was at odds with the Milas and the city of Barcelona over building codes and religious symbols he wanted to include in the buidling. Gaudi nearly abandoned the project but was persuaded to finish it. Anyway this entire experience soured Gaudi so much that he turned his full attention to Sagrada de Familia and never worked on another private project. We walked and walked (knees starting to hurt now) and passed a few ...

... Heading to the shot bar I just about gave up as I felt like it was way too far away. Luckily I stuck in there because it was one hell of a bar. The bar serves 500 different types of shots all different and whacky. We started off with a marshmallow one. The bar tender lit the bar on fire, then gave us marshmallows on a stick which we roasted before dunking them in our shot. Was amazing. Next I had one that looked like a science experiment. It had water rushing up from ...

      BARCELONA… BARCELONA

Weather: wet and then sunny 20 C

Yep, you guessed it, we had rain today – more about that later.

There are 2 hop-on/hop-off bus companies here (red and blue). We chose the blue company which has 3 routes – blue, red and green. Having paid the deposit (the hotels commission we think) on a discounted 2-day pass at the ...
