I am in Tunis now. After waiting about 3 hours at the Cairo airport, I flew into the capital city of Tunisia, Tunis. Tunis Air isn't that great of an airline. I was completely bored out of my mind since they had no in-air entertainment. The airplane food wasn't bad. It was spicy and very filling. Tunisian Passport control gave me a hard time for some odd reason and I didn't get a stamp in my passport at all. I suspect the Americans they come across are blond/brown haired and blue eyed. We'll ...

Tunis, Tunisia hammametagencev... travelers took camel rides while we wandered the area. We traveled by the Chott El Jerid, a huge, largely dry, salt lake where eerie figures of salt where built by folks along the roadway. Here we also saw a desert fox, the fennec, a tiny, pale yellow, large-eared creature which was really cute. We visited synagogues and mosques (few of which we were allowed in to visit), a Berber home built into the mountains, souks, medinas ...

Tunis, Tunisia wareameye... this, and kept closing my eyes as he tried to apply the liner, which meant I ended up with one black eye plus no make up remover... yes! The other eye ended up okay, but I'm sure it still looked completely ridiculous all day. Oh well, the botch job meant I had a good excuse not to buy it! As a parting gift one of ...
Tunis, Tunisia sianethIt's funny to haggle with the Tunisians in their markets, but Tunis disappointed me a little... it's dirty, have an strange smell like a mixture of spices and sweat... there just a few places to visit and they are so careless with their highlights... but after that we visited Sidi Busaid, I recommend this place instead of Tunis because of his streets and views<br>
Tunis, Tunisia danny23dcThat's it. I'm all alone now. Quebecers have all gone back and the real experience of my trip is really beginning. When you're in a protected environment, the advantage is for you to focus on the limited tasks that you have to do, but the experience is limited. Now, all is open, I can go anywhere; when I want, as long as I fulfill my engagements. I have reconnected with a bunch of students who were part of the protest that ...
Tunis, Tunisia fitfilms... don't you like', he thought for a bit and said, 'none'. Need I say more. Wondered around town soaking up the evening atmosphere and feasting on a giant bowl of soup so thick that it hardly seems fair to call it soup. One of the freshest baguettes set us up for a venture into one of the very few bars that sell alcohol. The are all seedy, but the good beer is enough to ...
