If you are not a guest in this place, and 90% of the world could not possibly be, you are about as welcome as my ***** were on the overcrowded boat; and just for your information to be a guest your credit card will be charged a tidy sum of 2,500 Euros per night.

Apparently early seamen used to throw a rock into the port on every return voyage in honour of the Madonna and child, as a result the islet gradually emerged from the sea. This custom continues...and every year on my birthday, all the locals take out their boats and throw rocks into the sea, widening the surface of the island. ...
