    ... We were grateful for a space to sleep as we observed some people had opted out of a cabin and were spending a ten hour journey curled up on the floor with sleeping bags.     ... things (lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, olives) that were amazingly cheap. Then we went back to the hostel and cooked our own lunch (historically for the first time since we started travelling again!). We decided to prepare some dishes especially because it would be too expensive for us to eat in the city center.     ... where Tyler rode a Segway and bought a small wooden boat, both highlights for his day. At Kotor, we celebrated Sue's birthday at a delightful water side restaurant where lunch for 3 with 4 glasses of wine set us back 65 Euros. Nice!

    Bellies full, we began our trek up to the top the walled city (notice a theme?) and some 45 minutes later we had scaled 1500 steps enroute to a 700 ft. elevation gain. Needless to say, we were hot and sweaty.

    ... we could really see how incredibly clear the water around Budva was -- it was possible to see the rocky bottom at least 100 meters out. We spent the majority of the afternoon getting lost in the stari grad streets, and then moved along to the nearby, extremely crowded beach.
