... We were grateful for a space to sleep as we observed some people had opted out of a cabin and were spending a ten hour journey curled up on the floor with sleeping bags. We ran into our friend from the Restaurant San Fransico several times aboard the ferry that evening and everytime he saw us he seemed to say "ciao bella"! After charging Ryan's phone so we could find our Rome apartment the next day we headed to bed feeling the rise and fall of the ferry in the sea (I definitely took a ...

... show of gangham style and gentleman for us. It was very cute! After that we went into the old town for a night out. We went to a bar with dance music but it wasn't mixed well n was pretty ****. Most of the locals just stood around not dancing and gave us sour looks. The bar staff were real pushy and always trying to rip us off. But all part of the experience! When the bar closed we went to a nightclub on the hill which is actually in a ...

... The thunderstorm was now right over us with flashes of lightening and cracks of thunder. Just while everyone was eating and happily chatting there was an almighty deafening clap of thunder sending everyone into astonished silence. The loudest thunder EVER!! The lights and music inside the restaurant went out as we had been hit by lightening. Exciting stuff!!
