    ... and in the village a hairdressers, pharmacy and the standard Boulanger/Patisserie. Such a beautiful spot that we have not moved the boat at all. Monday morning in lovely sunshine we walked to a champagne house which is the property of the family of the "capitaine", who is the young man who manages the mooring and is in attendance from 6 pm to 8 pm each day.     We were up reasonably early and after tea as usual John went to get bread and milk, Isi published yesterday's blog.

    ... went to the supermarket and got the last 2 bottles of the €5.90 champagne and a bottle of rose of the same type to try, amongst other things. We called at the Tourist Information to get bus and train information for tomorrow as we fancied having a day trip somewhere and they suggested Sainte Menehould.
