... Ville which had beautiful gardens. Then it started raining and there was lots of thunder - we had to put our raincoats on. Next we visited Mercier winery and did a tour in mini train through caves underground. There were lots of caves and many bottles of champagne. Our first stop was the town of Fontainebeau where we stayed overnight in a campsite before heading into the township the next day to see the very impressive Chateau Fontainebleau. ... chandlers and it is not there anymore! We had run out of special toilet cleaner for ST and can’t get any more! Bill says he never used special cleaner in his 37 years so we bought some ordinary. John will wait and see how the seals perform.

We had a walk to Aldi as we discovered we had no tonic to go with our gin after we tied up. It was dreadful, so we had to have a bottle of "bubbly" instead!

... vacuum storage bags which are a great invention, they also protect against condensation or water leaks (sorry Margaret). Then John vacuumed from front to back, he even hoovered the welcome mat on the outside of the door as it seems it was a mistake as it is bringing in bristles and embedding them into the carpet making it difficult to get up. We spoke to Tony who looks after our post and garden and he told Isi her car insurance was due so she set about the task ...
