    ... to pull of 2700km. On average 45km/day. Together with a Belgian couple, we did about 28Km. At 5pm we celebrated our accomplishment with a beer before Gregory said goodbye to proceed to do another 25km. What a courageous man! In the evening we were spoiled in a B&B by Justine. And her parents. It was a good day, although my body will have to recover tonight. According Justine's father My body will need another 12 days to get completely adjusted. By that time, I'll be back ...

    ... ago, yummy. Having done the tour with Mercier we decided to forgo any more but had we decided to, the Veuve tour would have cost €50 each, ouch. I guess you would expect that for the top champagnes. It was great though as we ended up chatting to a chap who works there and he also gave us some great information, quite a fascinating world is the Champagne world. And yes, I couldn't help myself, I did buy a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Demi-sec. Will let you know what it's like. ...

    ... The sign says it's open but it doesn't look that way. The manager is nowhere to be found. I decide to go to a grocery store, get some food. When I get back. The managers still not there. I wait for an hour eating some food when I see who I think is the manager. He ignores me completely for the first 15 minutes and then asks what I want. He's not very friendly.     ... chandlers and it is not there anymore! We had run out of special toilet cleaner for ST and can’t get any more! Bill says he never used special cleaner in his 37 years so we bought some ordinary. John will wait and see how the seals perform.

    We had a walk to Aldi as we discovered we had no tonic to go with our gin after we tied up. It was dreadful, so we had to have a bottle of "bubbly" instead!

    ... vacuum storage bags which are a great invention, they also protect against condensation or water leaks (sorry Margaret). Then John vacuumed from front to back, he even hoovered the welcome mat on the outside of the door as it seems it was a mistake as it is bringing in bristles and embedding them into the carpet making it difficult to get up.
