    ... guide in the US could NEVER talk like that, they'd be sued for discrimination or defamation!

    Yesterday we we arrived at the boat, spotty wifi, this morning we sailed to Lyon, so the connection is much more reliable. We leave for a tour of Lyon (headquarters of Interpol, BTW) in 15 mins, so this entry will be short. I'll work on getting the pics uploaded to the iPad; more later!

    ... background. We almost saw the famous ancient Greek theater, but it was so high up the hill and we got lost exploring Old Lyon, so we skipped it. But it is overall an awesome city, with a vibe similar to that of Paris, but not quite as full of tourists or speedy motorists. I definitely want to revisit the city someday. ...

    ... couple of hours were very exciting and the rest of the flight to Singapore went smoothly enough. With a four hour connection we made a quick trip into Chinatown to buy Poss's chefs two more piston funnels (because they fight over the one she already has), back on the last flight to Sydney.     ... actually on the trail I stopped by a hotel that I had marked as part of the path. I walked in and tried to ask for directions. The woman didn't speak very much English and ended up asking if I was a guest at the hotel. I said no, but I figured she might be have been able to help me anyways.     ... I had two students, Benoit (an adult who needs English for work) and Romain (one of my children students), then I worked at the Wallace again.
