... This part of Lyon was different then the part we were staying at. The arcutechure did not seem as old as it was by our hotel. This part of the city was way more hustle and bustle then the other side. When we got to CEFAM I was surprise to see how small the office was. I thought it would be way bigger. The area CEFAM was in was a very busy area, and the building had alot of different things going on. Being in that kind of enviroment of a busy area made me envision my ...

... to be a little adventurous and pulled out my wordlens app and saw that there was a deal of picking 3 for 18 euro so I picked a pork salad for a starter, some sort of calamari, shrimp and sweet and sour sauce for an entree and a coconut flan for dessert and Tracy ordered the Pad Thai. I was pleasantly surprised that my risk payed off and I actually enjoyed my dinner! We then came back to our room and I wrote in my journal and uploaded pictures and went to ...

... for the last 2 weeks. Jac downloaded the quiz from the SMH and we sat back and listened to music. It really was a great way to top off such an amazing day plus it was also one of the cheapest dinners we had had in Europe. The next day was still unplanned except that we were heading for another wine region just outside of Lyon. We had a rough mud map for the day and no accomdation booked just hoped for something to fall into place during the ...

Through The Eyes Of A Tourist

A travel blog entry by christinec2013 on Jun 02, 2014

... day I went out and did some Camino preparation. And I made a list of everything I thought I would need for the walk. And actually in think everything will fit on my small bag, and it's only about 2kg, possibly 3kg at the most. Which is nothing, I lift weights heavier than that. I was pretty happy with myself. On the Friday I did some walking practice. Just to see how far I could walk before my feet got tired. It ended up being about 2 hours, maybe about 8km. But I'm going to try ...

    The Count Down

... It was alright. I knew number three and two, but number one was a mystery, as always with this particular count down. And today I'm going to the Filipino mass at the Fourvière. Oh and also, I got my nose pierced, I love it :) Anyway, not much else to report. Making plans to travel with my mum in April and planning my escape from Lyon. There's something so satisfying now that I can see the end. I definitely deserve it, I've put up with this place for a long ...
