... where it is all walking streets. We had a fantastic evening with them and their friends, champagne, homemade pizza, a delicious meal, wine from Ananise's fathers vineyard - it was exceptional, oh and of course CHEESE - the best of France from THEIR region!!!! Francois & Ananise are coming to New Zealand in December for 3 weeks so I was able to advise them on some great things to do and hopefully they will come to the Hawkes Bay and visit us. Another late night!!

Bikes are packed and we have breakfast at 8:00am. Then we rolled out about 10:15 enroute to Bergerac for the individual time trial. We drove towards Pau then turned north to Bergerac. We arrived at the start of the TT, we walked through the team buses looking at the TT bikes, you could get us really close to the teams. We then walked through the town, there are 200 shops simply selling bottles and vials for the water. The town now is a different place then it would have been in its peak.
