The farmers are not happy with changes to the agricultural policy. He made it to the ferry with just 10 minutes to spare! It’s no wonder the French are the laughing stock of Europe. The French countryside. There really is nothing like it. The only breach in it's quaintness and old-world feel is the existence of this bullet train we are on. The expanse of beautiful pastures and fields is surreal. I keep reminding myself that this IS real life, and no Natalie, you are not just looking at pictures anymore!
