Sunday was the final day of Les Etoiles de Pau, and what a great day for New Zealand it was (winning 1st and 2nd, with Michael Jung - Rep. Thursday we had our walking tour of Lourdes booked for 2pm.
On the way we stopped to take a ride on the funicular railway which goes up the
Pic du Jer. At 1000m this is one of the first foothills of the Pyrenees. The ride takes under 10 minutes and the views from the top are brilliant. As it was so clear you could hear the mass being held in the cathedral way down below in Lourdes.
