          ... which was part of the old hospital so we decided to visit the. Well worth the visit as it showed how people were treated long ago. The apothecary itself had a lot of the original medicines used in the 17th century.

          ... br> After settling in we took a stroll to check it out and found we were only about 350 metres from the impressive Chateau in Bauge. after our stroll we had decided on a restaurant which was part of an Auberge de France hotel. It was excellent.

          ... This castle would have been pretty impressive in its day, with massive high towers, thick walls and a deep moat. It even had its own orchards and vineyards inside the walls. The castle was built on an ancient Roman site and is also home to the Apocalypse Tapestry which was commissioned in 1375 and depicts the entire book of Revelation in a series of panels.
