Saumur - last stay before Paris

A travel blog entry by anothertrip on Nov 01, 2014

... set up, selling mostly clothing. We went knto one of the hotels we had the name of, and decided to stay, choosing a 'superior room', which was large, had wifi and a tea/coffee maker, ( not that it really influenced me?!), and for €79 a night was good value.
We had another, unfortunate experience like we had on a previous trip, when we tried to get fuel. Many of the stations now are attached to a supermarket, are available ...

A travel blog entry by dancingboots on Sep 19, 2014

We left at 9.05 and drove the 93 miles through not very nice weather, arriving at 11.40. Luckily we got on to Pitch H02 which is near the toilet block but also the pool and restaurant. As we had stayed on the campsite before, we knew where everything was, which is always nice. We were actually just above where we had met Eileen and Phil from Ireland 3 years previously. This time, ...

... to wish her happy Mother's Day.

THen we were off. Terra Botanica is about a 20 minute tram ride from where I live. Whilst waiting for the tram - which by the way is the first time i have used it - we noticed a group of people doing dog obedience classes. This demonstrated the difference between Australia and France. Yes, they were learning the same things - sit, stay walk to heel etc, but they also included walking down the escalators at ...
