... It was still a wonderful experience, but definitely a workout and when we finally got back to the start point I came out of the boat completely soaking in sweat. Shortly after, Devon and their boat made it back as well and I realized they had the same struggles as us.
After that we rewarded ourselves with some food. I ended up getting some very expensive 5 euro eggs (which I was craving for whatever reason) and some strawberries. Skipped out on the ice ...

... yogurt or fromage blanc (I don't know what this is in the States, if we even have it. But it is fabulous with fresh fruit and a little sugar.) My favorite thing for breakfast is a croissant, which I get on the weekends, because Francoise is so nice to me! Sometimes, I add a little miel creme (honey with cream or butter) to the croissant or tartine. The coffee here is more like espresso, except at breakfast, when adding copious amounts of milk are acceptable.

... called Mamies. I had gallettes, which are buckwheat savory crepes. There was cheese folded in the gallette with french fries (but they don't call them french fries here... just potato fries) and chorizo. I suspect there was nacho cheese on the fries, but one can't be sure when one doesn't know the French word for nacho cheese...
Wednesday was another short day of class, and we were given the assignment to create a newspaper for our class. It's kind of funny looking around ...
