... so we made it happen. Taking Fifi around the tiny cliff side roads was a bit nerve racking at first but people drove responsibly and so did I. We arrived in a super cute town where we got a map and some advice on what to see. Here she suggested going to a look out, then a small looped road for more views then to the main lake. The first view point you could see how vast the canyon is, breathtaking. We drove through a couple other ...

We finally believed them and went to the supermarket and got a couple of tickets, they were in between the fish counter and the cream cakes. We'd planned on going to Avignon today but it had took so long messing with the tickets that we just had a drive along another scenic gorge that was near our next accommodation, stopped at a beach by a river for a while, and ...

Breakfast service only started at 8am so it was about 9am before I wrapped it up, packed my bag, and checked out. Dave, Linda and I headed off on ...

    Sur Le Pont d'Avignon

One of my favourite places I visited in France, Avignon is such a beautiful old city. We stayed at an Air B'n'B rental within the ancient town centre, and were lucky enough to have access to a rooftop patio that looked out over the city toward the Palais de Papes. Had a lovely time strolling along the medieval ramparts, and the gorgeous wall of greenery in the city centre. Nothing bad to say about my visit to Avignon!
