... that was the only source of light. First when we came in there were wooden boards for plates with knifes and HUGE napkins.The guy came in and told us we had to use our fingers and we could use the knife for the bread. And you could wipe your fingers if they were dirty on the other persons hair. I know this sounds crazy but it is true.Catherine, mommy's friend, was with us. The swim meet was a fun swim meet. After a drive through Northern Italy we arrived at Innsbruck. The entire drive was effected on the autostrada for a total toll of 33.10 Euro or close to $37. (the dollar strengthened a bit over the last day or so). But my gosh that was much more than burning their $6. plus gas. ... Theo, said "what are those - you are supposed to have a snack box like everyone else." I had plastic baggies and everyone else had the big lunch boxes. We have recess at different times, there are no bells. And "math" is called "maths".

... again speed along.....speed limit 130kph and have cars tearing past us. We stopped for a coffee break at a roadside stop where a magnificent buffet meal could have been had if we so desired. Their roadside stops are something to behold. Do travellers plan their breaks around these places??? Back on the road and a huge traffic jam brought us to a standstill. Trucks were banked up for kilometres and when we eventually left ...

... legs and we gave him a nickname "drie" - that is 3 in German. We had a huge "prentzel" - you couldn't believe how huge it was.

Reese - We drove to Mayrhofen and we saw the cows that were coming down the mountain with the farmers. There were a few really young ones and they all had crosses and big head pieces on their heads, and huge bells on their necks. We had a drink and some special sausage, after that we went to take the gondola up the mountain. It was one big gondola. ...
