We woke in The Marmara with enough time for one more breakfast before flying home. Looking at the empty sun loungers that we had sat on the day before with Hannah we both felt a strange sad absence at the same time. A text message in the night had let us know she was home ...

We retrace our way back through the markets and succumb to some of the delights of a more than impressive looking Turkish patisserie. Back at hotel some time later and then dinner at seafood restaurant a few doors down. The Octopus was divine despite the excruciating wait. Milk in our tea - thanks to all the Brits who now call this place ...

... us a little under $30 ea. Bodrum Castle was built between 1406-1522, not easy to manoeuvre the steps as some were very steep and very uneven. The castle housed many artefacts, some glass which dated back to 14th century BC. Some in good condition, others that were damaged. During the late 1800's the castle was used as a prison, then restored and opened to the public in 1991. The show tonight was William Hick's Soul Satisfaction, Motown Show, fantastic singers, not long ...
