    ... on the beach are forced to scrunch up as the beach gradually disappears, and then starts to appear again. We had our first Pintxos in the Old Town for lunch which seems to be humming 24/7. There are literally hundreds of bars and taverns all with their specialty tapas and pintxos sitting on the bars.     It's very hard to imagine this trip getting any better and I think Noosa has just been knocked off the top of my list of happy places in the world. We have nearly finished week 1 of 2 in Biarritz and the place is just getting better and better.

    OMG how each of us slept like babies. Jacques and Marina did not wake up till almost 9:00a.m. Remembering the tremendous buffet breakfast spread, we all dressed quickly, and headed down to the main dining room to begin our day of luxuriation.     ... journey north, we came across the beach that made Biarritz famous -- the Grande Plage. There must have been 20,000 people packed on that patch of sand!
