Awoke to rain and more rain. Forecast had been for rain on Wednesday, but it has arrived early. Not much to do except stay in doors.

Our time in America: We were really blessed while in America and are so thankful for the opportunities that showed themselves. We had an amazing time making new friends and experiencing a completely different world to what we know. ... ride from where we are, which would have cut into our time together and made it quite stressful for them to try and travel with a stroller on the (very inaccessible) Paris Metro lines twice a day just to see us. We would have been happy to travel to see them, but their gesture was more permanent (they did book a room to be near us, after all...) so we had little choice but to graciously and thankfully accept their closeness, grateful for the chance ...

... so I thought I would try this and of course I wasn't expecting it to be the same, but I really liked it. The duck flavor really stands out. It's very rich though, like duck butter but thicker. It was served with toast and fig jam I guess to balance the gamey duck liver pâté taste, and with a salad. It seems like something you would serve as a very small side because its soo rich. A little goes a long way.

I had to go back to get some macarons after dinner before ...

For me, eating my crepe meant more feta ending up on the ground than actually making it into my mouth which is always fun when eating with a new group of friends. One of them actually said, "We need to teach you how to eat feta." Not embarrassing at all... but back to the ...
