... that this incredible urge to hightail it back to the car and get the hell off of this street and out of this city.

But before I could suggest such a thing, I spotted this guy across the road. He was strange looking. Even from across a pretty wide street he stood out more than the others. I am not sure if he was under the influence or mentally ill, or what, I can’t explain it, but he had this affect about him…and it was just off.
