Toyama / Takaoka
... cooked noodles with ready made packed sauce, all cold of course!!
Next day went to the castle, only to find out that it was closed for renovation, typical!! So the only other thing we went to see was the giant Buddha, 15.85m tall and weight of 65 tonnes.
After this we drove to Takaoka (which is not too far) to a nice Temple which was build around
360 years ago. It had a graveyard next to it with some nice tombstones.

Glass studio in the summer
The glass studio was redecorated for the summer!
The glassworks displayed were all summer-like. Most of the glasses are for cold drinks such as cold tea.
I personally like spiral patterned glass! As those glasses are made by famous designers, they are not always affordable.... Some pieces are very expensive! I should be very careful not to break those pieces..!
Glassworks they sell are great for special occasions such as wedding gifts!

Fumigiku Sake Brewery
My colleagues and I visited Fumigiku Sake Brewery company. As soon as we enter the store, we all noticed the sake fragrance.
On that day, we were not able to see how sake is brewed, but the staff there told us that we are able to see it if we could make a reservation in advance. They even provide sampling of sake for visitors. Visitors can also purchase sake for souvenirs.
