... the bells echoed through the valley. It reminded me of a some what demented version of the gamelan music of Indonesia. I was also expecting Julie Andrews to appear at any minute.

After eating our lunch and pretty much falling asleep on the bench afterwards, we managed to get back on Traveller and Caribou for the slow easy ride into Fussen.

Day 15

"It is with a heavy heart" we leave the dear old Elbe river with the ancient city of Prague beckoning over the horizon. That section of the Wandweg will have to wait another day.

... had dinner tonight in the main square of the town. Live music great food and beer. Two more days to Dresden and then a train over to Wurstburg and onto the Romantic Road .

We have had some pretty heavy fog the last few days and the forecast has been for rain but so far our luck has held. I have not been taking many pictures because of the dull weather. On the plus side, there has been no wind.
