Traveled from Caglairi along a combination of road types. Interpreting the GPS directions took us up lanes and dead ends but the advantage was we were off the tourist routes. Housing so different to Australian standards. However all seemed well kept. We stopped at Nauaghi and toured the archeological restoration of Stone, Bronze, Steel and Roman civilizations. These stone constructions after being utilised for various requirements were abandoned around the 6th century ...
We weren't in a hurry to get out this morning. There really wasn't much to see between hotels, and besides I had my piggies done. It feels so good to feel human again.

... all over our patio area and it was so pretty. I definitely wish I could bring one of those trees home with me, but I don't even have to check to know that wouldn't be allowed.
We managed to book a shuttle directly through our resort that would take us to the Cagliari airport (about 2.5 hour drive) and from there we got a taxi from the taxi stand by the arrivals that took us to our hotel in Cagliari. It was by far the easiest transportation day we've had all trip.

We spent our evening sitting by the main pool again and listening to the music. Every night they play music by the pool and it's the same rotation of European/Italian songs which EVERYONE loves and knows the choreographed dance to with English songs mixed in. The DJ also loves Bruno Mars and did a lot of singing over the music, which he butchered every time.
Banking issues aside, it was a pretty good day :)
