      Government building and Sumo Wrestling

The sumo wrestling started at 8am until 6pm but the best fighters come on at the end so we decided to go a bit later. There are only two tournaments a year in Tokyo so we have been so so lucky to be able to see this. Noel pre booked the tickets which cost £40 each. When we woke we decided to go to the TMGO Tower which gives you a magnificent view of the city. It is a government building so it is free to go up. You can go up the North ...

... up and down the levels, there was one level were there was a cracked open window and you could see out across the whole of Disney and on another were the little demon of a statue threw lightning at the lift which made it plunge all the way to the ground floor really quickly. It was awesome. My mum didn't really like it! A funny fact about Japanese people who go to Disney together - they all dress the same! Whole groups of ...

... to Tokyo and then going to watch the sumo wrestling. I wasn't sure what to expect but the whole experience was pretty crazy. There is so much history and tradition in everything they do it took us a while to get used to what was happening. We saw some pretty tense fights and the atmosphere was excellent. We loved Japan and would definitely like to come back in the future. We are now half way through our trip and have to make our flight across the Pacific Ocean to ...

      Tips for travellers:

Moss - Awesome small bar and restaurant in Sangenjaya. Great steaks cooked to perfection, good wine list to match and awesome service. The bar itself I outstanding, sort of Mexico's dawn of the dead meets Japan.... love it.. http://tabelog.com/tokyo/A1317/A131706/ 13149040/

... my bags were 28 kg and 27 kg. I had to pay $35 which wasn't bad. The flight to Tokyo was really fast, 1 1/2 hours. The plane was a big plane, a 777. The seat configuration was 3 4 3. Kylie had and aisle in the 3 section and was seating by her classmate Amelia. I had the aisle across and there was a seat next to me open and then her teacher, Taka. The plane was pretty empty so everyone could spread out. We arrived no problems and got our bag and then loaded a bus that ...
