Mt. Fuji & Tokyo
... to get there instead of the advertised 2.5, and by the time we got to the lake it was late in the afternoon and Mt. Fuji was nowhere in sight. However we decided to go for a nice scenic boat ride and then for a soak in the onsen at our hotel, where we ended up having a 6 person dorm to ourselves! Lake Kawaguchiko is a sleepy lakeside town this time of year, but you can tell in the summer it must be packed.
