... pasture - views to the mountains - past an odd property with fences that look like they hold deer, have lookouts or bird hides (don't know which) have cameras facing onto the track - dunno - shrug - and perhaps undisclosed military - through a ton of gates, but simply stunning beautiful country. Could hear rain in the night but only copped a couple of light bits of rain today, more than a drizzle but defo not a shower. Somehow the heating got turned on in the night, and while not highly warm it was better than the bone chill of last night. It meant my face washer was not wringing wet to stuff in my pack but sadly Hedleys shoes which weren't near the heater bombed out - not that it mattered, they were soon soaked again in the wet grass on the goat track.

Yesterday we met a couple who have been living in a motorhome permanently for 14 years, just travelling Europe. They sold their 8 bedroom farmhouse in the UK years ago. Last year they decided go and live in one of their investment properties, a flat. Said they were in it two weeks and got back on the road with the motorhome.
