We stopped first in Ravenna today to see its ceramics and the tomb of Dante. The ceramics were nice but having seen the Blue Mosque eand Hagia Sofia in Istanbul I wasn't too impressed. Day 69 (Monday 19 Oct) Florence to Spello Train travel is becoming routine now, so I'll skip that part and go to where we arrive in Spello, a relatively small town in the Umbrian hills, early in the afternoon.. We walked around Capri for a while exploring the winding steep streets and rocky beaches, much like most of the Mediterranean beaches you hear about. The water, while breathtaking, is a bit chilly!
