I left the lodge at 6:20. The landlady came out to the hall, when I left the lodge, just saying "good bye." It was just a word, but thanks to her, I pleasantly began my day. Then I caught the first train to Kakunodate. Kuakunodate was only 20 minutes' train-ride from Tazawako. Unfortunately, trains didn't run frequently and did only in the morning and late afternoon. Most interesting about the train ride - the girls selling drinks and food as well as the train attendants bow at the entrance of the car before coming in and when leaving (leaving is particularly interesting, since they have to turn back to face the passengers for that)...
