Exploring Iguazu and Florianopolis

A travel blog entry by hannahbaynham

After a month of absolutely adoring Argentina, and 3 and a half months of travelling, I have made it to my penultimate stop - Florianopilis, Brazil! The end is in sight... I left Buenos Aires for Iguazu this time last week (seems like a lifetime ago!) - a long old 20 hour bus ride making that my furthest distance yet, but I survived, despite the noisy, obnoxious Argentinians sat next to me. But it did offer so much - the Iguazu falls were incredible, as was Rio, and not to mention the Oktoberfest in Blumenau, which we certainly wouldn't have come across in Peru or Bolivia. The coast was also very pleasant, and although we had pretty bleak weather, we had enough nice days to appreciate how amazing it would be in the height of summer.
