... and the sun is up at 5 am. Amsterdam is on the 52nd parallel. We had all day to fill in before getting into our rooms at the hotel so visited the Flower market, museum, shopped in interesting little streets and soaked up the smells of Amsterdam. Ghent is like Brugges bigger twin and hasn't been found by as many tourists, mix this with a large uni population and a great time and atmosphere is guaranteed.
