Our day at sea was pretty normal. I felt good enough to get back to the gym and the rest of the day was filled with lectures, arts and crafts, the culinary demonstration, etc. We decided to go to the dining room for dinner and I suspect dinner was the culprit for my later problem. When we got back to our cabin after the show and I got undressed to shower, I discovered that I had broken out in hives. I had eaten one mussel at dinner and it was the only "different" thing I had eaten ...

The temperature by now was back to normal: bloody hot, which wasn't exactly ideal considering how far we had just walked and the layers I was wearing. ... br> I am not sure the meaning of this but there are also white elephant statues with their behinds facing us. I will look into what they all mean.
Whilst driving they show us the posh areas where all the very expensive houses are....they have no side or back windows and walls around them....with big flash gates.
They want privacy but want to show off their mansions.
We then drive through the poor area where they live in shanty shacks.....such ...

... place earlier in the last decade. We paid the entrance fee and walked the length of the submarine, marvelling at the sheer claustrophobic nature of it. I'll never cease to be amazed at how confined the old submarines were, with only the captain having any privacy at all. The periscope was still functional, allowing you to imagine you were lining the crosshairs onto a ship, about to send it to a watery grave.
