Today is my last day in Surabaya, I have purchased my train ticket to Semarang. Prices are still up and I had to pay for the full fare to Jakarta. The ticket for executive class from Surabaya to Jakarta is 440,000. I am told that the prices will be going down on October 4th!!!

... the items. A busker would also be waiting in the queue to border so that as soon as one busker would be exiting the bus another one would enter at the front to work his way down. At any one time there must have been 15+ people handing things or collecting things interleaved with a busker somewhere in the line. All very humorous.

I won't describe the state of the inmates - suffice it to say that we toured 4 of the wards, but these were only the worst cases who need to stay in hospital. In the mornings there are hundreds who come in for chemotherapy treatment and then return home. Sobering huh?
