We continued 10 more kilometers to Chilling, a small village with several old stupas and mani wall. We took in the scenery at nearby waterfall before heading back to Leh.

A Sob Story in Leh

We awoke with a headache, the telltale sign of altitude sickness. We took an Advil and while I planted myself on balcony with "The Pillow Book of the Flower Samurai", my feet up and enjoying the view, Dave went out exploring.
Dave checked out several hotels for us with a little more comfort. Tomorrow we'll move to Leh View Hotel.

Day 3: Stok Circuit Trek
... that made the climb mentally exhausting. Soon we could see prayer flags strewn across the pass. I have never felt like something was so close and yet so incredibly far.
When I was within a couple more yards, I couldn't handle any more small steps and sprinted to the top. This is probably not advised. I kind of felt like I was going to collapse, but the views were incredible and made me stand. It was 9:30 when we made it to the top.

The 4 Idiots
... We even played billiards with a couple of the staff members. We almost beat them as I made the eight ball in my desired pocket, but also scratched at the same time. A great way to end the night and our stay in Leh.
Yet another early morning tomorrow because our flight is at 7am. This marks the end of our vacation together because tomorrow we will be going separate ways after arriving in Bombay. What a great time Nish, I'm glad I spent it with you rather than anybody else.
