      Great stay in Nice

Our stay in Nice was short but comfortable at the Hotel Le Royal. The rooms were small, but clean and quiet, so we had great sleeps to adjust to France time from our long arduous flight. Great location right on the main drag across from the fantastic Nice beach.

... at this point that is destroying all of the pedestrians. Funny stuff.

Go back to the room and change into a suit, because it is time to go to the number one place on my bucket list, Monte Carlo. Gotta look fresh when going to the fanciest, classiest place on Earth. Just hoping it doesn't start raining and my nice clothes get soaked. Change and head up to the main train station to catch the train in the opposite direction of yesterday's, ...

      Monaco bound

Another morning started with a trip to the market for fresh items.
Today is Monaco day for us.
Rode the bus and took in the scenery of cliffs and expensive homes and boat harbor's.
We walked thru the park to the Monte Carlo Casino and there is no doubt about it, this place is for the ridiculously rich, obscenely extremely opulent and a squillion tourists including us!
The cars alone are worth more than my home, and I mean each car, not the total.

... officials could be found. Rather than backtracking, Rufio tested his athleticism by maneuvering along the top of the wall, which stood some 30 ft. above the street below. I cringed as I watched him jump down safely on the other side. I passed my bag through the narrow gate to him, and then climbed on the wall myself. I cautiously tested the waters by inching my leg around the boundary, but my stature was not quite lengthy enough to make it safely across the wall. Instead, I opted ...

      The beautiful Nice

... out from the shore where it was warmer. The water is so salty which makes it really easy to float and relax in the water. I took my water proof camera and got a lot of good shots of everyone relaxing at the beach. That night we all got really dressed up and headed to Monaco which isn't part of France but its own country. We went to Monte Carlo to have dinner. Monaco has the most millionaires and billionaires per capita than any other country in the world. ...
