    Great stay in Nice

Our stay in Nice was short but comfortable at the Hotel Le Royal. The rooms were small, but clean and quiet, so we had great sleeps to adjust to France time from our long arduous flight. Great location right on the main drag across from the fantastic Nice beach.

Well we've had a whirlwind two weeks or so. We leased a car from Peugeot - but we had to pick it up in Madrid - six hours a way. So when I say "we" had to pick it up... I mean "Wade" had to pick it up. So, Wade flew (cause he loves to fly on prop planes!!!) to Madrid, picked up the car and drove it back down to us. All in one day! Whew he was tired!

This was all so we could move to our next place and get ready for a weeks worth of traveling inside of travel.

Following the coast we stopped at a beautiful town of Cassis which had peninsula and a gorgeous stony beach overlooking the rugged cliffs. The beach was definitely the best we swam in while in France however hard to get out of with the steep stones sadly. Frejus was ...

... garden...don't know how to describe it but water shoots out of the ground and you can walk through it. Sometimes it changes to fog. Very cool. Also they have the "7 Continents", sculptures of men on these tall poles, that change colour. Different, but nice.

While we were there, I heard someone call my name and it was our client who is spending a month in Europe with her other half. Couldn't believe it!!

When Kaila woke from her nap we played another game of Hearts (I finished 2nd after making a big comeback from last) and Kaila won! Next was tidying and packing while I cooked up what food we had left for dinner. Then it was off to bed for our last night in France.
