Afterwards I will be traveling down to Puerto Vallarta to visit my Aunt and Uncle for a few weeks and then staying with my father who just moved into a condo 30 minutes south of Cancun. El Carmen, Mexico
We arrive in El Carmen after an uneventful border crossing. We're staying at a Bible Institute which has a nice campus - it's trees have pretty deep pink flowers. I love it here. The work at the orphanage means most things are done by hand - mortar mixing, water carrying, cement moving - at least we have a small barrel mixer for the cement otherwise we'd never get anything done. It seems like everything in Mexico is made of cement. ...
Camping in Cuatro Ciénegas
... and wore a long sleeve shirt. It's so hot and sunny that you'll burn even if you're wearing 45-spf sunscreen. The white sand was also very cool. The camping itself was also quite a bit of fun. We had hot dogs and good old marshmallows, or bombones, as they are called here. Everything went extremely well. I'm definitely planning on going back to Cuatro Cienegas someday. ...
