... our stroll. There are over 1200 different kinds of plants in the Renaissance garden which is built in terraces. Hands down the most beautiful gardens I’ve ever seen. You’ll have to look at the pictures and judge for yourself!

Tonight is a special 'Be My Guest’ dinner on an island in Lake Maggiore. The restaurant is called The Pirate Cove and is in an 800 year old structure. The restaurant is not usually ...

But was not eating at a much slower pace. I had planned bananas foster for dessert, but everyone was too full, so ...

... with chairs/tables in green outdoor carpeting, under a tent, we ordered: spaghetti vongole, calamari, and capriosa pizza. The restaurant was clean, and packed with families, all with very well behaved kids under the age of 8 years. Our dinners all arrived at separate times. Marina's calamari and fries came first. Jacques nibbling on her food almost faster than she could eat it herself. My capriosa personal pizza was next. The small size was too large for me, so ...

... at the table, enjoying my morning coffee, in the bright sunlight, with slight wind, and the sea with only mild surface ripples. Glorious.... "For the moment..." as Marina would say. This "moment" seems to be the story of our entire crossing. With relative ease, all our sails were raised, and we made part of our journey under the power of the wind. By the time we had lunch, our trip was over half way completed. About 30 minutes ...
