After regional learning, we returned to our show facility and rehearsed for our Friends and Family show. We had over 300 people in attendance including many alumni! And our lone Danish student, Katrine, attracted quite a crowd as well! :)

... on our bus ride from Hamburg, Germany to Denmark. The guys traveled on a ridiculously large and spacious bus.

This is a huge deal in UWP, I assure you.

When we arrived in Denmark, Laura Lynn, the music coordinator, went on the guys bus and told them, "We have to practice winter medley. Right now."

Only 30 minute trip from Copenhagen. Nice little place to spend the night. Did alot more than I expected. Saw the museum on H.C Anderson, which had his original manuscripts. We got some groceries the night before and so we had nice breafkasts every day at the cottage. Luc and I chose the "guest house" as our room, so we had a room that overlooked the ocean, with two twin beds that go up and down with a remote (very cool!) but since there were no blinds, we were up with the sun at 5 am! Luckily we used eye covers and fell back asleep quickly!

... etc! It was fantastic!!!! We really really lvoed it!

The cottage is absolutely beautiful! We are directly on the Svenborg Sound, which is water from the Ocean! We went for a wonderful swim (ok I only went in to my knees because it was cold, but luc got in!) and we went kayaking...too much fun!!!!

We went for a bike ride (BIKES are used a lot in Denmark -- gas is too expensive, approx. 2$ per litre!!) and we explored the town a bit. The cottage is ...

The original plan was to drive all the way to Copenhagen and stay on a campsite there. But since it rained and rained and rained, we decided to stop earlier and have a good rest before heading to Copenhagen and meeting up with Laurents & Iris at the airport there. We were lucky and found a really nice campsite right at the beach with a view of the Storebaelt Bridge :-)

... I soon found Vestergade, too. So now, having solved two most important sightseeing details from the town map, I could go on and continue the rest of my exploration in peace.
