A quick trip to Switzerland

Lugano is a lovely little town on the side of a huge lake. It was a nice place to spend a couple of hours. We walked along the lake side, then got a hot chocolate. It was another wonderful thick 'ciocolatta'.
Back at our hotel we had dinner. It was pasta for entree, chicken schnitzel with potatoes and beans for main course and a lovely little cake for dessert. Tea and coffee ...

... were not able to see George Clooneys house b/c it sits way back off the lake. guess he isnt quite THAT rich or famous.
tonight we are staying at the airport in Milan but we will not see any of the city since the airport is a full 85km from the city center.

Flowers everywhere at Lake Maggiorie
... sometimes see an Italian couple shouting at each other waving theirs hands around like they are trying to get rid of a fly; this is called the Italian way! Not only are they passionate about their food and wine but also the way they chat and exchange words. I could watch them all day long shouting at each other!
