Simon and his family were actually heading towards where I needed to go the next day for my flight, so they were nice enough to drop me off at the airport. I couldn't have asked for a better stay in Germany, it was such a fantastic time, I learned so much, and had such a perfect stay!

... another aimless wander before bed, hoping our hotel room fan would keep the temperature in check.

During breakfast the next morning, we chatted again to the young Polish waiter we had met the last time we were there. Such a nice guy, working on his immigration papers for Australia, hoping to make yet another country home. Then Jim descended into the hotel basement to pack up the bikes in the hot, airless luggage room. ...

      Day 2 - afternoon

      Weather: Cloudy periods

As the Thai Airways A380 approached the airport's terminal, I stood at the glass window with my mouth practically open watching this humongous airbus come to a complete halt several meters away from me.

No need to tell you! It was huge with its double-deck and wide-body with four ...
