I dag var dagen vi skulle hive oss på et shinkansen-tog (lyntogene i Japan) bare for å prøve det ut... Vi hadde derfor reservert plass til Akita (En by langt nord på øyen) dagen før for å fastsette en tid vi måtte komme oss av gårde. Dagen i dag var imidlertid en av de dagene hvor alt går en imot. To my horror, I manage to pour half the contents of my water bottle over the old lady sitting next to me who spends the next 3 hours looking as though I mortally insulted her family. Another great leap in Japanese-Gaijin relations!
