There was another room where a couple had donated their whole pottery and ceramic collection, pieces numbering in the thousands. Most pieces had gone to this museum but several thousand more had gone to the British Museum, of all places.

      ... die with the other.

We took a taxi to a pedestrian mall and wandered through the shops. We did see the typical tourist junk venues but places local frequent. Our taxi driver spoke English well, and was concerned we would not be able to get back to the ship. He wrote directions for us to give the next driver.

The goodbye and sail away featured precision Japanese drummers. They were upbeat and energetic. It was a wonderful ending to a nice ...
