    We checked out of our hotel in Hiroshima and took a street car to the bullet train to Fukuoka.
    Arriving to the city, we did the mistake of taking the green bus to the hotel. It took it 75 minutes to travel 5 km. We wanted to kill the driver. :)

    ... to walk the extra mile and check it out. Well either I went on the wrong day, or at the wrong time, or don't understand the word "lively" as I should have saved my shoe leather. It certainly wasn't lively and the street wasn't exactly packed with vendors but I did count three carts so I guess the "carts" bit was correct.
    Also checked the water front area out when I was reserving my ticket to Busan. So that's it for Japan. Next stop ...

    ... Though I never went in because it too was closed, and I never came back to enter, the entrance is constantly open to the public. You walk into a large circle surrounded by nicely trimmed trees to shield you from the noise and view of outside. This walkway you enter takes you to the right, circling around this massive circular pool. You walk all the way around this pool, which is something like 19 meters in diameter, until you can enter.
